For decades, CCTV cameras across rail corridors, mine sites, water facilities and transport hubs recorded footage that nobody watched until something went wrong. SensorMine Video Analytics changes that equation entirely. Instead of recording and hoping, our platform watches continuously, understands what it sees, and alerts the right people before incidents escalate.
SensorMine’s video analytics pipeline ingests live RTSP streams or archived video from Azure Blob Storage and processes every frame through a GPU-accelerated detection engine running at over 100 frames per second. Objects, people, vehicles, trains and bicycles are all identified in real time and tracked across frames using a custom multi-object tracking implementation.
You configure conflict zones — polygonal regions drawn directly on the camera view — that define areas of interest. Already in use with clients to monitor rail crossings, conveyor-belt exclusion zones, and restricted site entrances, the system fires an event within milliseconds when a tracked entity enters or behaves anomalously within a zone: bounding-box coordinates, confidence scores, event type, severity, and a reference frame for immediate playback.
Unlike standalone CCTV platforms, SensorMine Video Analytics is natively integrated with your sensor telemetry, alerts, and dashboards. Edge-deployed AI agents enable local detection — low latency and no dependency on cloud connectivity, with ambiguous events escalated for verification or automated action. The result is fewer false positives and a faster true-positive response.

SensorMine's Edge Gateway accepts data from virtually any device that can transmit over a standard industrial protocol. Whether your sensors speak MQTT, Modbus RS-485 RTU, 4-20mA current loop, 0-30V DC analogue, 1-Wire, or digital I/O, they can natively connect to the SensorMine ecosystem without modification.
SensorMine's integration framework doesn't end there. This robust platform also offers REST/OData endpoints, webhook receivers, Kafka topics, and file-based ingestion. With these options even legacy systems and third-party SCADA platforms can become rich data sources within SensorMine's unified environment.
When you connect a new device, SensorMine's Schema Registry captures the structure of the data it produces. Field names, units, data types, categorisation (queryable or just metadata) all are instantly documented. This schema is then applied to every reading that device sends, enabling consistent querying, alerting, and visualisation regardless of the raw format the device uses.
Not only is this metadata critical to understanding readings, but it also contextualises field mappings into human-readable naming conventions. Your 'ch1_mv' reading becomes 'Water Level (mV)' in dashboards and alerts. This happens once at configuration time, and delivers productivity gains every subsequent time an operator accesses the data to understand alerts, events or trends at a specific site.
Configuring a new device type doesn't mean starting from scratch. SensorMine's template system allows you to export a complete device configuration (including schema, device type, dashboard widgets, alert rules) as a portable JSON package. Import it on another tenant in minutes. Over time, your library of templates becomes a competitive asset.
